Also, pay attention to your plates and utensils for cleanliness. When something runs low, it is allowed to run out and isn't restocked with another lukewarm tray of starch and grease until the bus boy brings it out. They also appear to be understaffed, or at least I hope that's the excuse. It is nothing but starch and fat and all tastes like it has been sitting for hours and is all poorly prepared- from overcooked to stale. Second, the food is no better than government commodity. My room and many of the others that I was in had missing outlet covers, sprinklers that had not been finished, fire doors with alarms that had been deactivated and used for staff smoking areas and bare, live wiring in rooms, bathrooms and hallways. First, I don't know if this place has ever had a safety inspection and feel that it wouldn't pass. There was nothing that happened directly to any of us, but there were many things that had just been ignored or ill cared for that just shouldn't have been.
The start of the stay wasn't too bad, but the longer it went on, the worse it got. I stayed at 4 Bears with a group over the weekend.
